Major League A-Girls
1. Girls 11 & 12 - 5th & 6th Grade
2. National Federation Fast Pitch Rules for current year.
3. You will bat your roster, with 3 outs or 7 runs ending the inning.
4. Pitching rubber-40 feet. Bases-60 feet.
5. Regulation games are 7 innings, or 1 1/2 hours. No inning will be started after 11:00pm, except no game can end in a tie.
6. No team shall use more than 1 minute between innings (NF rule 6-2-4)
7. The ball used is an approved 12 inch girl's fluorescent softball.
8. All runners, batters, on deck batters, and players coaching a base must wear approved batting helmets that are in good condition and properly fitted (NF rule) with manufactured approved chin strap.
9. Base runners cannot leave base until the ball leaves the pitcher's hand. PENALTY: The runner is out.
10. 10 run rule. If a team is winning by 10 runs at the bottom of the 5th inning.
11. Facemask, Chin Straps and a double first base will be utilized
